Pacific Datacom has recently been appointed as a
distributor for APC products. APC are a world leader in
UPS (uninterruptible power supplies), equipment racks
and cooling solutions for computer room installations.

To get ourselves up to speed with this new range, the Sales team congregated in Sydney for  product and sales training at APC’s Technical Training Centre. 

Ian Haddon, General Manager – Specialist Businesses and Asia, says, ‘We wanted to show our full commitment to his new program, so we made the time investment to get our people together to become more confident in selling APC products’. 

Warren Sainsbury, Business Development Manager for PDC, says, ‘The APC sales training was valuable for our team because many of the products in their range were new to us. It is imperative we understand what we have to offer our customers so we get the greatest benefit from our efforts. ‘We’re already generating enquiries and with growth in data centre builds, the demand for this range will grow,’ Warren explains. 
‘APC is the perfect addition to our product range because most of our key customers know these products and have traditionally purchased them through IT re-sellers. PDC should become the outlet of choice for data installers.’ 

As PDC ramps up in the area of uninterruptible power supplies we hope to become a valuable source for the L&H Group network. Power quality from the supply authorities has become unstable in many regions of Australia due to growing demands. More and more electrical contractors are getting involved in UPS installations.
